<ul><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">To be a Saudi citizen</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">He shall not be a government employee in the public or private sector and shall not practice any profession other than the legal profession</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">He must have a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree in Sharia, judiciary, or systems, from one of the colleges in the Kingdom, or an equivalent from any of them, and a general grade of no less than (good)</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">He must be of good conduct and behavior, and he must not have been previously convicted of a crime involving breach of honor or trust, or a disciplinary decision of dismissal from a public office has been issued against him, even if he has been rehabilitated</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">To be medically fit and of sound senses</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">He passes a written examination prepared by the competent department</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">To pass a specialized training course in the field of documentation in accordance with the controls specified by the regulations, unless he has worked (for a period of no less than one year) as a judge, notary public, legal or legal advisor, or taught jurisprudence and its principles in one of the Kingdom’s colleges</li></ul>
