Steps
<p style="text-align: left;">1. Log in to the Najiz platform using your National Single Sign-On credentials.</p><p style="text-align: left;">2. Select "All Electronic Services."</p><p style="text-align: left;">3. Choose "Powers of Attorney and Declarations."</p><p style="text-align: left;">4. Access the "Issue Power of Attorney" service.</p><p style="text-align: left;">5. Click "File New Application."</p><p style="text-align: left;">6. Enter the required details for the principal and agent(s).</p><p style="text-align: left;">7. Select the terms of the power of attorney.</p><p style="text-align: left;">8. Select the duration of the power of attorney.</p><p style="text-align: left;">9. Click "Approve."</p><p style="text-align: left;">10. The user will receive notification of the power of attorney issuance via SMS.</p>
Service Requirements
<ul style="direction: ltr;"><li>The user must be a Saudi national or a resident with a valid identification document
The user must be 18 years of age or older
The user must possess full legal capacity
The user must have an active National Single Sign-On account
The user must have an active account on the Najiz Business portal if acting as a company representative or sole proprietorship owner
The user must be the owner of the sole proprietorship if the entity type is a sole proprietorship
The user must have the requisite authority within the company to issue a power of attorney if the entity type is a company

Should Know
<p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space: pre; direction: ltr;"> </span>The duration of the electronic power of attorney shall not exceed one year.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Issuance of the electronic power of attorney does not require an in-person visit to a notary public.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>The power of attorney is fully electronic and does not require printing, stamping, or signing.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Available capacities for issuing powers of attorney through the Najiz Individuals portal are "principal" or "agent under power of attorney."</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Available capacities for issuing powers of attorney through the Najiz Business portal are "sole proprietorship owner" or "company representative."</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Any party to the power of attorney, whether principal or agent, may electronically remove themselves partially from the power of attorney at any time via the Najiz platform or mobile app.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>The power of attorney is automatically revoked upon the death of any party, facilitated through data integration with the Ministry of Interior.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>The authenticity and validity of the electronic power of attorney can be verified through available verification services.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>If the principal’s identity document has expired, the power of attorney is limited to matters under "Claims and Courts."</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Individuals over 65 years old issuing a power of attorney for the first time must do so through the "Virtual Notary Public" or via "private notaries." Subsequent issuances can be completed electronically via the Najiz platform.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>The "Favorites List" feature allows users to pre-save parties to streamline the selection process when issuing a power of attorney, saving time and effort.</p><p style="text-align: left;">•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>The "Reissue Power of Attorney" feature enables users to reissue an ineffective power of attorney with simplified steps.</p><p>
