Steps
<ol><li style="direction: ltr; text-align: left;">Log in to the Najiz platform using your National Single Sign-On credentials.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Navigate to "All Electronic Services".</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Select the "Social Affairs" package.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Choose the "Notarize previous marriage" service.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Click on "Use the service".</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Select the relevant notarial entity.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Provide the details of the wife or husband, the marriage, the marriage conditions, the guardian, the children, place of event, and witnesses.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">Click on "Submit application".</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">The user is notified of the application number and date via SMS.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">The contract parties are notified via SMS to authenticate the application.</li><li style="text-align: left; direction: ltr;">The application is reviewed and approved, and a marriage contract certificate is issued.</li></ol>
Service Requirements
<ul style="direction: ltr;"><li> Provide the supporting documents in accordance with the requirements of the electronic service form. </li><li> Provide the electronic divorce document number if the woman is divorced, or provide a copy of the paper divorce document. </li><li> If the woman is widowed, provide the deceased’s inheritance documentation number if issued electronically, or provide a copy of the paper heirship document. </li><li> Provide all details of the parties to the marriage contract (the husband, the wife, the wife’s guardian, or their agents, and the two witnesses). </li><li> Ensure that all parties to the contract and the witnesses are over 18 years of age. If the husband or wife is under 18 years of age, provide the document approving the underage marriage issued by the competent court. </li><li> Have a mobile phone number registered with Absher for all parties. </li><li> Ensure that the woman’s guardian is in accordance with the Sharia order of guardianship over the woman, and attach evidence of the transfer of guardianship from the father to another guardian. </li><li> If one of the parties to the marriage is a Saudi national and the other is a non-Saudi national, comply with the Regulation Governing Marriage to Non-Saudis issued by Minister of Interior Decision No. 6874 dated 20/12/1422 AH. </li><li> Have a valid power of attorney if the applicant is an agent, or attach the external power of attorney after it has been authenticated by the Ministry of Justice. </li><li> If the documents were issued outside the Kingdom, have them authenticated by the Ministry of Justice. If the applicant is an agent under an external power of attorney, the power of attorney will be verified, and if it is not verified, attach the power of attorney to the application. </li></ul>
